Hi, I'm Sarah and this might be the first thing you're reading about me so I'll introduce myself a little bit and give you a bit of background on how we started and where we are now!

After working for many years in various local floral shops I became aware of how much waste there was within the floristry industry and as an eco-conscious person I wanted to do things differently. In 2019 I decided to start Aurora Eco Florals and cut out as much waste as possible. We are now completely foam free and our designs are based around all materials being recyclable or reusable. 

Working for myself has given me time to be a stay at home Mum to our little flowerbud. Flowerbud is now trainee floral designer and the rest of the team is made up by head of quality control Flower Frank the lurcher and Flower man over in mechanics. I just want to make pretty things so I tell Flowerman what I need it to look like and he builds the mechanics behind it for me. 

Am I about to tell you that Im super organised and not covered in various forms of dirt 90% of the time - no. But what I can tell you is that if you're looking for a florist I am going to be authentically myself and I'm going to make you feel super comfortable and confident in receiving magical floral designs. 

When I'm not making flowers you can usually find me doing something to do with running or volunteering. 

We can be found every Sunday morning at Holmebrook Valley junior parkrun volunteering. We set up this event in May 2024 and have won an award as a team for our volunteer efforts. 

A couple of evenings a week I'll be playing netball and during the week I'll be out running somewhere along the canal or on the TPT.
